At 3pm on April 14, 2023, the Intelligent Networking and Computing Laboratory of the School of Computing is delighted to be joined by a professor from the University of Waterloo and chairman of the IEEE Technology Society on Vehicular Technology, Prof. Weihua Zhuang, Academician of the Royal Academy of Sciences and Engineering of Canada, gave a talk to Fudan University students and students in the No.2 Building of Jiangwan Campus, presided over by Prof. Gao Yue, Director of Intelligent Network and Computing Center.
Under the title of Stochastic Cumulative DNN Inference for Intelligent IoT Applications, Professor Zhuang introduced the application of DNN model in IoT for the present teachers and students. It explores when to offload DNN inference computing from resource-limited iot devices to the edge, and how to incorporate different contributions from multiple random DNN inference results to improve task classification accuracy while achieving high transmission, computing, and energy resource utilization.
After the lecture, the teachers and students actively asked questions, discussed and interacted with Mr. Zhuang, so that the students really felt what is easy to obtain a teacher, but difficult to find a teacher, the lecture ended successfully. Thank you Professor Zhuang for your wonderful sharing.
