AI leads the future development of information technology, young scholars gathered at the Forum of China Association for Science and Technology

From August 1st to 2nd, the two-day "AI for Science Happening in the current Scientific and Technological Revolution International Young Scientists Salon" was held in Zibin Courtyard, Handan Campus, Fudan University. Nearly 30 senior experts and young scholars in the field of computer and information science at home and abroad gathered to discuss and look forward to the core scientific and technical issues, future development trends and possible key breakthrough directions of artificial intelligence enabled intelligent simple network and artificial intelligence enabled spectrum perception and recognition. Zhang Yanchuan, Secretary General of China Society of Communications, Wang Yuanyuan, Vice President of Fudan University, Wang Wei, Deputy Director of High and New Technology Division of Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, Zhong Caijun, Project Director of Information Science Division of National Natural Science Foundation of China, Yang Min, Deputy Dean of School of Computer Science, and Professor Gao Yue and Professor Wu Yongpeng, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Forum attended and addressed the forum.


The theme of the forum is "AI for Science in the current Technological Revolution", sponsored by the China Association for Science and Technology, organized by the China Society of Communications, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the UK Working Committee of the China Society of Communications. The forum is a dialogue platform between top experts in the field of interdisciplinary science and young elite scholars, aiming to promote the exploration of interdisciplinary frontier theories and technologies of AI and information science, promote the in-depth development of the disciplinary development strategy research system, discover and cultivate outstanding talents, and promote the future development of information technology in China.
